Karen was born and raised in England and has always had a passion for fitness and sports. After completing her studies in physical education she obtained her Personal Training certification through the American Council on Exercise. She has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years and in that time has completed many other certifications including Group Exercise Instructor, Pilates, Kickboxing, Cycling, and Silver Sneakers. She also specialized in Post Rehabilitation, Senior and Youth Fitness, and has a CLAS Ropes course instructor certification. She has trained people from age 5 to 85 with many different abilities, from the yet to be fit to the extreme athlete, and enjoys helping people obtain their goals. She has also owned and operated her own fitness facility while living in New Mexico and has been a fitness manager at many other facilities around the US. Karen moved to Utah in 2008 with her husband Matt after he retired from the Air Force, they have been married for 29 years and love the outdoor activities that Utah has to offer.
