Marie specializes in training for strength (building lean muscle mass), macros nutrition for fat loss, Strengthening the core (bring abs back together after baby, surgery or weight gain– diastasis recti) and functional fitness. She really enjoys working with those who are new to the gym; teaching them and making them feel comfortable & most of all, SUCCESSFUL with their own goals!
Marie has a passion for strength training and finding new challenges to conquer. Having 5 children of her own, she has overcome her own personal challenges. Having all children via c-section, Marie knows the challenges that many face with recovery, the struggle to lose the extra pounds and have the energy and strength to be active with their family, instead of watching them from the sidelines. She truly feels that the victories, i.e. being able to run around with your kids, the feelings of self worth and confidence and being in control of your own life is better than the numbers on the scale (although those are nice to see change too.
Teaching group fitness is also a HUGE passion of Marie’s. Her favorite classes to teach are Cycle Rush, Kickboxing and Tone 360! Having been in the fitness world for over 10 years, Marie’s experience and positive personality will make any class fly by and make you come back for more!
Marie loves spending time with her family, exercising and might have a slight obsession with salads from Café Rio.
Your Nutrition should make you feel energized, have clearer brain function and support good sleep. Eating by macros should do just that! Balance your foods, give your body vitamins and nutrients it needs and still have the flexibility to have a small treat with no guilt.
